Activities & Events

We believe we have an important part to play in our local community, helping people to grow in body, mind and spirit. We warmly welcome all to any of our activities and events.

We also recognise that we are part of a global community and we believe we can play a part in overcoming injustice and suffering wherever it occurs.

Many of our events directly or indirectly help us to serve the community and the wider world. These are some of the events we hold each year.

Christmas Day Lunch: We provide lunch at the church on Christmas Day for those who are on their own.

Fund raising events: We support a different charity at the first Saturday Coffee of each month. We also respond to international emergencies with fund raising events.

Shoe Box Sunday: Shoe boxes of toys and gifts are given by the congregation, for children who receive no Christmas presents, as our contribution to Operation Christmas Child
