Activities & Events

We believe we have an important part to play in our local community, helping people to grow in body, mind and spirit. We warmly welcome all to any of our activities and events.

We also recognise that we are part of a global community and we believe we can play a part in overcoming injustice and suffering wherever it occurs.

Regular Activities

Friday Coffee & Company: Every Friday 10.00 to 11.30a.m:
Providing somewhere for people to meet, make new friends and chat over coffee (or tea!)
Every other week alongside the Macmillan coffee mornings – so there is a place to go every Friday!
Working from home and missing those coffee time chats, or missing times spent with friends catching up over coffee?
Do you had news you would like to share with others, but do not have place to go?
These recent times have had an impact on our local communities and our social lives and we feel Coffee & Company is one small step in helping people reconnect in the local community.

Meet & Eat Lunch: Every Wednesday Midday – 1.30 p.m:
A light lunch and a time to make friends and talk – usually over a very nice home made soup and cake –
suggested donation £3
If you are free on Wednesday at lunch time why not come along?

This is an ecumenical venture with St Peters.
Maybe you would like to join the team of volunteers running it!

Fund raising events: We support a different charity at the first Saturday Coffee of each month. We also respond to international emergencies with fund raising events.

Shoe Box Sunday: Shoe boxes of toys and gifts are given by the congregation, for children who receive no Christmas presents, as our contribution to Operation Christmas Child

Lunch Club (organised by VASA – Voluntary Action Stratford upon Avon): 3rd Tuesday each month – 12.30 – 2.00 p.m: A delicious meal with time to meet and make friends.

TLC (Tea, Laughter, Chat): 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month – 9:30 – 11:30 a.m: TLC provides somewhere for people of any age to meet with others. Come for tea or coffee and a snack (such as toasted teacakes or toast and jam), chat with others and, if you wish, join in with activities such as jigsaw puzzles and scone baking.
